Children and Nature Charter for West of EnglandÂ
'Every child in the West of England will have the right to thrive through meaningful, regular connection with nature.'
We are creating this charter through a listening journey. Please add your voice, if you work with CYP or young adults:-
... by listening to diverse voices across the Bristol and North Somerset area, we are co-creating a shared vision that will hopefully be adopted by decision makers for the region, who we are contact with.

The Vision
A policy ready plan for how nature should be woven into children and young people's lives across our region. It will address mayoral priorities in West of England combined authority.

How we'll do it
Who we are
Through an open, listening-led process that grows as it goes, each conversation leading to the next, where everyone's experience counts, gathering what works into a consensus in order to create a shared blueprint.
A steering group of individuals from different organisations who believe the timing is right for this project and can offer different skills to help create the listening journey.

Where this is heading
A collaboration of all the nature-based organisations and practitioners in the region working with children and young people, from the early years through to early adulthood.
Seeking project funding and partners to take this listening journey further, towards a proposal to the West of England Nature Partnership (WENP) Nature and Health programme board to help set regional priorities.
