Nature supporting well-being

We are working with different organisations to connect people with nature to better support their health and well-being.

More about well-being ...

Nature Connection CIC was set up in 2020 following our collaborative education project Bristol Schools Nature Reserve which started in 2018 and recently expanded due to funding from West of England Combined Authority.

We are a small collective of people passionate about nature and aiding people to experience and connect deeply with nature. As we all paused in 2020, we also all realised why time in nature is so important to our health and well-being and now we are on a renewed mission to get more people out into nature to nurture their health and well-being.

The values that underpin everything we do are: Respect for People & Nature, Openness, Determination, Creativity and Kindness.

The partners in the CIC have all worked in the nature based sector, delivering a vast range of projects and activities with organisations and communities for over 50 years between them. We have lived personal experience of how nature can support recovery from long term chronic illness which enable us to support others. We are based in and around Bristol and have worked across the wider south west region.
